Marie Manger
Beamish
Hamilton native Marie Manger Beamish first became
interested in art through her father, who was a self taught artist of
considerable talent.
Although Marie took many art courses over a period of years, she did
not actively pursue her passion for art until after retiring from her
chosen career in teaching.
Marie has taken courses through many different institutions including
OCA, the Arts Program at Central Tech, The Haliburton School for the
Arts, Springbank Arts Centre, Neilson Park Creative Centre and Belles
Artes in San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico.
Marie is a member of Visual Arts Mississauga, The Etobicoke Art Group
and the Humber Valley Art Group in Toronto.
Marie’s work is colourful, vibrant and strong. It shows bold
decisiveness, regardless of subject.
